Auction to raise funds

Dear members, friends and supporters of Dyslexia Sarawak,

Dyslexia Sarawak is a non-profit and non-governmental organization advocating earnestly for the literacy and social-emotional needs of children and young adults with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. We are very grateful to Madam Irene Manyin for donating this exquisite set of table and stools made from suar wood for our fundraising efforts. I invite you to come and bid for this. Kindly see details in the poster. Thank you.

Some information about suar wood:

Suar wood is from Rain Tree (Albizia Saman). The wood is cross-grained, strong, robust and very durable, with a light-yellow sapwood and rich dark chocolate-brown heartwood. The rich colour and beautiful but subtle grain of the heartwood, resembling black walnut makes it highly prized for the table-top. It is highly resistant to decay and termites. Suar wood only requires basic maintenance such as soap & water to maintain its grandeur.
